Hyperion Solutions Acquires Capital Electric Motor

Memphis, Tennessee-headquartered Hyperion Solutions, a provider of systems and components, digital solutions and technical services for the vertical-transportation industry, announced on December 1 it has acquired Capital Dallas Electric Motor Service (Capital Electric Motor). Since 1982, Dallas-based Capital Electric Motor has provided specialized technical services and solutions to the elevator industry including AC/DC motor repair, armature rewinding, sheave regrooving and machine work, on-site line boring, equipment evaluations and motor exchanges. Hyperion CEO Sterrett Lloyd said he is pleased to welcome Capital Electric Motor to its Technical Services business alongside McIntosh Industries and Titan Machine. Capital Electric Motor General Manager Myles Manning said the acquisition represents a “strategic milestone for our brand, employees and customers and complements Hyperion’s strategic vision.”
