In Memoriam: James Mikel “Jim” Brown

Jim Brown

ATTA Elevators, a full-service elevator and escalator company headquartered in Ontario, Canada, announced its “beloved colleague, brother and friend” James Mikel “Jim” Brown passed away unexpectedly on January 28. Brown had been part of the ATTA Elevators team since its inception in 2022, becoming known for his passion and dedication to the brand. He consistently fostered a warm and welcoming atmosphere among vendors and colleagues of both ATTA and Modern Elevator, which ATTA acquired in 2022. Brown’s survivors include partner, Tammy; children, Jessica, Natalie, Briana and Reno; granddaughter, Isla; siblings Jeff and Judy; and many other family members and friends. “As we reflect on the many memories shared with Jim, we are reminded of the joy and passion he brought to the workplace,” ATTA Elevators said. “His commitment, kindness, sense of humor and strong work ethic will be profoundly missed more than words can express.”
