In Memoriam: Klaus Reinhardt

Reinhardt

Klaus Reinhardt, former board member of VFA-Interlift e.V. and owner and managing director of ATH Aufzugstechnik Heilbronn and Becker & Reinhardt, GmbH & Co. KG of Germany, passed away recently at the age of 76. During his time as VFA-Interlift board member from 1998-2004, Reinhardt helped shape the future of the industry with his expertise, vision and great personal commitment, VFA-Interlift observed. “His work was always characterized by integrity, collegiality and a deep sense of responsibility for technical quality and entrepreneurial action,” the association noted. Reinhardt led both ATH Aufzugstechnik Heilbronn and Bercker & Reinhardt, with strength, entrepreneurial skill and an open ear for employees and business partners alike. His management style was human and clear, and his visions forward-looking. Under his leadership, both companies developed into respected players in the German lift market, known for their high levels of expertise and quality.
