Indiana County Lawmakers Approve Elevator Contract

County Commissioners in DeKalb County, Indiana, on September 9 accepted a US$114,400 quote from Indianapolis-based Executive Elevator Co. to replace the main elevator serving the DeKalb County Courthouse in Auburn, Indiana, The Star reports. Executive Elevator plans to start work by February 2025 and expects elevator downtime to be four to six weeks. By spring of 2025, the public should be able to access the courthouse’s upper floors via the new elevator.
