Industry Veterans Launch NYC-Based VT Consultancy

Industry veterans Lucas Kairdolf and Danny Girgis have launched NYC-based vertical-transportation (VT) consultancy Clarkson + Varick, for which they serve as CEO/president and managing partner, respectively. Located in the northern portion of Tribeca, Clarkson + Varick serves clients in New York, New Jersey, Florida and California. Kairdolf and Girgis said their team works with developers, property owners and managers to create custom elevator and escalator solutions for their projects, and tout the consultancy as “an intersection where innovation + knowledge are lighting the path for today’s elevator and escalator needs.” Extending special thanks to Champion Elevator President Don Gelestino for his support, Kairdolf most recently worked at Champion. Prior to that, his career included executive roles at Vertical Elevator and Summit Elevator Co., both of NYC. Girgis most recently worked as vice president of operations at United Cabs, Inc., in Queens. He has also worked for Schindler, BOCA Group and Liberty Elevator Corp.
