JMG Limited, Nigeria’s trusted partner in integrated power and mobility solutions, has completed a vertical-transportation renovation at the J.K. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos, Nigeria, Realnews Magazine reports. The Centre required an inclusive elevator and escalator solution to make the building more accessible. The project faced major architectural constraints since there were no shafts, pits or overhead clearance where elevators were being installed, both inside and outside the museum. JMG supplied and installed one TKE Velino escalator, two TKE H-Series H-100 and H-200 home elevators, and one TKE Evolution commercial elevator. The H-100 was installed inside the museum and operates on a single-phase power supply, increasing its energy efficiency and lowering operational costs. The H-200 was installed in an open area outside the museum using a waterproof hydraulic system with low power consumption.
