KONE Contract With United Elevators To Expand Egypt Reach

KONE announced on August 28 it signed a strategic contract with Egypt’s United Elevators, making the company KONE’s first Egypt channel partner. The two companies have agreed to collaborate to deliver innovative and sustainable vertical-transportation (VT) solutions for both new installation and modernization projects, “supporting Egypt’s urban transformation and ensuring smoother, safer journeys in homes, workplaces and public spaces.” The agreement represents a significant step in KONE’s global RISE strategy that aims to serve the residential sector with a wide array of innovative and sustainable VT solutions. United Elevators boasts decades of experience and a strong reputation in the Egyptian VT industry. The company is known for operational excellence and execution ability, and has contributed to some of the Egypt’s most prominent developments.
