KONE recently inaugurated the KONE Lab at the Chitkara University, the leading educational institute in Punjab and North India. In a LinkedIn post, Amit Gossain, managing director, KONE Elevator — India & South Asia, shared, “Delighted to inaugurate the KONE Lab at Chitkara University along with Dr. Ashok Chitkara and our teams. The state-of-the-art facilities at the university, innovative environment and forward-thinking approach to education make this an ideal partnership for us at KONE. It was a great pleasure for me and my team to visit this beautiful campus. We are particularly excited about the specialized course on vertical transportation (VT) developed jointly by Chitkara and KONE, which will skill students with future-ready skills in elevator and escalator technologies and more. This collaboration will ensure nurturing talent and advancing innovation in the field of urban mobility. Looking forward to seeing the bright minds at Chitkara shaping the future of VT in India, which is becoming more important and bigger than before.”
