KONE Plans for Number of Projects in India’s NCR

Finland-based KONE announced it is executing elevator projects worth up to Rs 250 crore (US$30.26 million) in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India, Devdiscourse reports. These elevator installation projects are being implemented by its subsidiary KONE Elevators India, the company’s managing director & CEO for India and South Asia Amit Gossain told reporters at the inauguration of the company’s “Sustainable Office & Warehouse” in Gurugram. Projects include the upcoming World Trade Centre at Nauroji Nagar in New Delhi, the IOCL R&D center in Faridabad, the SD Biosensor at Manesar and several real estate projects in Gurugram. Sharing details of the new space, Gossain said the premises has 50 EV charging stations and the office has been set up with special parameters to help in the minimum utilization of conventional energy.
