KONE has been selected by Dubai developer London Gate to equip the 1,476-ft-tall, 106-story Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower in Dubai Marina with 38 vertical-transportation (VT) units, KONE announced on May 8. Upon completion in 2027 the supertall will offer luxury apartments within the tallest residential clock tower in the world — a joint creation of London Gate and Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Franck Muller. The VT order includes 14 MiniSpaceTM DX energy-efficient, high-speed passenger elevators equipped with UltraRope® technology. The solution will also feature KONE 24/7 Connect for predictive maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and availability. Sustainability is a key focus throughout the project, with solutions designed to minimize energy consumption and support eco-efficient operations. The tower was designed by the National Engineering Bureau and Al Serh Al Kabeer is general contractor.
