KONE to Modernize Three Elevators in Georgia City

The Roswell City Council in Georgia recently approved a US$379,334 contract with KONE to modernize three elevators in two city-owned buildings, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Two of the elevators are located in City Hall and one is in the Cultural Arts Center. The project will include the replacement, refurbishment, removal and disposal of the outdated elevator components. The contractor will then supply and install the new components and perform required updates per the Georgia State Code. The updates to the three elevators are expected to take approximately five weeks.
