Long-Empty Dublin Office Tower Set for Residential Conversion

The Sentinel Building, a 14-story structure intended to be an office building in Sandyford, Dublin, Irland, is set to undergo a residential conversion with Dante Property Co. Ltd. applying for planning permission on July 27, JOE is among outlets to report. Cork-based company Tivway started work on the building in 2007, but stopped in 2008. The company went out of business in 2010. Described by the source as “one of Dublin’s biggest eyesores,” the Sentinel Building could become home to 110 apartments, a residents’ gym and lounge, car parking and electric vehicle charging stations. Redevelopment plans come after local lawmakers rezoned the property in 2022 to remove a requirement for an office element
