Man In Life-Threatening Condition After Falling from Escalator in Toronto

A man who fell from a mall escalator in downtown Toronto was in life-threatening condition, City News reported. Police were called to the scene around 4 p.m. on July 19 and paramedics transported the 25-year-old to the hospital. The man was on a central escalator, which is three-stories high, but it’s unclear from what height he fell. The area of the mall where the accident happened has been closed off and the Ministry of Labour is investigating.
