Maxton Manufacturing Co. held five elevator control valve training classes for 47 elevator mechanics at Delaware Elevator in Salisbury, Maryland, on March 11-13. The continuing-education classes provided four Certified Elevator Technician (CET)/Certified Accessibility and Private Residence Lift Technician credit hours to the mechanics in attendance through the National Association of Elevator Contractors’ approved CET program. Each session was comprised of classroom instruction and practical, hands-on application through valve adjustment, and troubleshooting on Maxton valves using the Maxton training unit TA4M.
