Mayer Joins Schindler as Carolina Area GM

Michael Mayer recently joined Schindler as general manager (GM) for Charlotte and western North Carolina, and South Carolina. Mayer joins Schindler from a nearly eight-year career with Sealed Air Corp. in Charlotte, where he held various IT leadership roles. In announcing his new position, Mayer thanked the leaders at Sealed Air for his experience in IT, and said his new role with Schindler feels like “coming home.” Prior to his time with Sealed Air, Mayer held roles at TK Elevator including account manager and branch manager in cities such as Charlotte, North Carolina; and Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina. Mayer holds a B.S. in business from the University of South Carolina.
