Mayr GmbH + Co. KG hosted representatives from more than 30 countries in early April at its Mauerstetten, Germany, headquarters (HQ) to learn more about its new technologies, products and processes. “Reliable service and expert advice for customers are core values at Mayr® power transmission,” the company stated, and this is why the family business regularly invites international colleagues and partners to its HQ to exchange ideas. For this year’s event, the focus was on robotics — mitigating risk and ensuring safety. Mayr’s ROBA® servostop® series safety brakes for servo motors were developed specifically for the high demands of the robotics sector — not only for industry, but also for the medical field, Mayr observed. The company also announced that, after opening a new subsidiary in India in 2024, it has added another in Spain to increase its international presence.
