MEI Acquires Archi-Tread

Minnesota Elevator, Inc. (MEI), a Mankato, Minnesota-based manufacturer of custom-engineered, made-to-order elevator packages, announced its acquisition of Archi-Tread, Inc., founded in 2014 by Scott Akin, on April 30. Archi-Tread offers a variety of stock sill options in addition to custom-fabricated sill solutions in a range of finishes to meet virtually any need, MEI observed in its announcement. Akin will continue to be involved in business as MEI integrates Archi-Tread into its ongoing operations, ensuring continuity and maintaining the high level of service customers have come to expect. MEI-Archi Tread’s address is 5010 Business Park Drive, Suite 190, Rosenberg, Texas, and it can be reached at phone 888-602-7977. Congratulating Akin on the sale, CEDES Senior Account Executive Robert Schram said Archi-Tread’s “Sillskins® product line is a great enhancement for properties, especially when transitioning from bronze to stainless steel.”
