More Than 100 Elevators To Be Replaced in Kyrgyzstan Capital

More than 100 elevators in multistory buildings in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, will be replaced this year, 24.kg News Agency is among outlets to report. Director of the municipal enterprise Bishkekgorlift Mairambek Samanchiev announced the work during a meeting of the Standing Committee on Housing and Community Services with Bishkek City Council. He said up to 70% of elevators in Bishkek have surpassed their service life and need replacement. In 2023, 100 elevators were replaced, and that same number is targeted this year.
