The National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) says its 2022 Annual Convention & Exposition on September 18-21 in Louisville, Kentucky, was a success, bringing approximately 2,000 elevator industry professionals from 16 countries and 40 states together under one roof at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The event provided the opportunity for 160 exhibitors from all facets of the industry to highlight their latest technology and products. Education, networking and recognition of achievements were also on the agenda, with NAEC President Hope Evans providing an overview and future direction of the association, welcoming attendees and introducing 2022 incoming board members and officers. She presented the President’s Award to her husband, Larry Evans, and the prestigious William C. Sturgeon Distinguished Service Award was presented to Mark Boelhouwer of American Elevator Group. An in-depth feature on the 2022 Annual Convention & Exposition is scheduled to run in ELEVATOR WORLD’s December issue.
