Nashville-Based NSM Acquires Atlanta Stairlift Provider

National Seating & Mobility (NSM) based in Nashville, Tennessee, has acquired Blue Moose Elevators & Stairlifts of Atlanta, a move the company said will broaden its mobility and accessibility options in the metropolitan area, HME News recently reported. Bill Mixon, NSM CEO, welcomed the acquisition, saying Blue Moose Elevators has grown its reputation for installing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts and residential elevators. Four Blue Moose employees are to transition to NSM and will serve clients from the Atlanta branch. NSM noted that the acquisition also positions the company to expand its exclusive partnership with Atlanta-based The Home Depot.
