Nidec Announces New Identity for Elevator Business

Nidec Corp. has announced a new, streamlined, unifying identity for its elevator business: Nidec Elevator, headquartered in Rancho Cordova, California. The business unit boasts a legacy of business brands, including Motion Control Engineering, based in Rancho Cordova; Imperial Electric of Canton, Ohio; Canton Elevator of Canton; and Kinetek of Wuxi, China. Under the slogan, “Keep People Moving,” Nidec Elevator offers a range of elevator and escalator solutions for a comprehensive range of commercial and residential buildings. Nidec Corp. said the company “continues to invest in R&D and push the boundaries of elevator technology, ensuring an ever-more accessible, sustainable and reliable journey for our customers and their customers.”
