The Building Services Engineering Division of Nigeria’s PPC Ltd. (formerly Philips Projects Centre) wants facility managers to call on the company to help ensure users of elevators in their high-rise commercial and residential buildings are safe, Business Day reports. Division Head Anand Kumar said thorough, routine elevator maintenance is critical to continued operation and reliable service. He said PPC’s qualified technicians understand complex, modern elevator designs and are “dedicated to ensuring high performance standards.” He continued, “The safety of people using elevators is non-negotiable, and this is why a good maintenance culture that guarantees continuous operation of elevators is key for sustained value delivery and high market acceptance.”
