Noble Elevator Package for New East Harlem Residential Tower

Thomas Dutton, vice president of Bohemia, New York-based Noble Elevator Co., Inc., tells ELEVATOR WORLD Noble provided two traction elevators and one hydraulic elevator to 88 East 127th Street, a new 19-story residential tower in East Harlem, Manhattan. Hollister-Whitney was the supplier for the traction units, and Canton Elevator for the hydraulic elevator, which also features Columbia Elevator entrances, Monitor fixtures and a controller from Smartrise Engineering. Construction on the 160-unit tower was wrapping up in August, New York YIMBY reported. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by Artimus Construction, 88 East 127th Street has a red brick façade and a grid of windows separated by dark metal spandrels. The property includes an array of amenities, as well as 15,657 ft2 of commercial space.
