NYC-Based Champion Elevator Acquires New Jersey’s Infinity Elevator

Champion Elevator, headquartered in Manhattan with locations in Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island, announced it has acquired INFINITY Elevator Co., Inc, based in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Champion described the acquisition as the foundation for its New York and New Jersey expansion plans. The move brings the number of elevators maintained monthly by Champion to 4,576 and payroll to 289. Champion President Donald Gelestino observed the INFINITY team lived through the challenges of 9/11 as the elevator service provider to the Twin Towers under the ACE elevator brand. “The resilient culture of perseverance, teamwork and dedication is the same foundation that Champion was built on,” Gelestino said. “The unique culture will be an amazing advantage for all customers and employees involved in the combined entity under the Champion Elevator umbrella.” INFINITY past owner Peter Pone said he looks forward to the strategic alliance.
