Gotham Point in Queens, NYC’s Hunters Point South, consisting of 57- and 33-story towers that together will provide 1,132 rental apartments (75% affordable), is headed toward completion, with leasing in the 33-story Parcel G set to start in the spring and the 57-story Parcel F slated for completion this year, New York YIMBY reported in February. Otis told ELEVATOR WORLD it is providing, for Parcel F, six SkyRise® and five Gen2® elevators with EMS PANORAMATM elevator-management software and, for Parcel G, four SkyRise units. Part of a rapidly transforming area on the East River, Gotham Point was designed by Handel Architects and developed by The Gotham Organization, RiseBoro Community Partnership, Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
