Ontario’s ATTA Elevators Expands into B.C. With Acquisition

ATTA Elevators, headquartered in Concord, Ontario, Canada, has expanded into British Columbia with the acquisition of Metro Elevator, based in Vancouver, ATTA announced on June 28. Metro will become a subsidiary of ATTA and service all maintenance, modernization and new construction customers under the ATTA brand. Metro founder and President Preet Binning and Vice President of Operations Roy Lanctot will continue to manage day-to-day operations. The alliance will focus on taking advantage of ATTA’s manufacturing facility for new construction packages, targeting escalator maintenance and service to offer customers a single service provider and expanding elevator maintenance to larger customers. Binning said the decision to merge into ATTA was easy for him and his family, as “Metro continues building on what we started 10 years ago for the next 20 years.”
