Visitors to the Otis Worldwide Corp. stand at the MIPIM property and real estate conference in Cannes, France, in March helped fund science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experiences for young people by participating in a smart quiz game. Using their quick quiz skills, plus elevator and escalator expertise, visitors competed to unlock a donation to support local STEM learning activities. Otis confirmed the winner with the most correct answers and fastest response time – Vaneau Lecobel – and made a donation on the winner’s behalf to the Les Petits Débrouillards association based in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur to support STEM programming. Les Petits Débrouillards – “resourceful young people” – is a registered educational and cultural organization that offers fun and engaging STEM workshops and activities, civic service and vocational training to young residents in the region.
