Otis announced on June 30 it will provide a complete elevator system for The Kross, a 39-story mixed-use tower in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s CBD. Work includes installation of seven SkyRise® and nine Gen3TM elevators integrated with the Compass® 360 destination-management system, which can reduce travel time by up to 50% during peak periods. Further, building owners will be able to monitor and manage a full range of operational-critical functions with the EMS PanoramaTM 2.0 elevator management system. The job is slated for completion by 2026, and Otis will maintain The Kross’s elevator system through 2028. Otis Managing Director Vietnam and Cambodia Manivannan K. said the company “is delighted to contribute to this prestigious development that will redefine Ho Chi Minh City’s skyline.”
