Otis has been selected to provide 28 vertical-transportation (VT) units, including 11 Otis SkyRise® elevators, to the Hôpital Vaudreiul-Soulanges in Montreal, a project highlighted by Otis Chair, President and CEO Judy Marks during the company’s July 26 earnings call. The project is the latest Otis collaboration in Canada with general contractor Pomerleau. The hospital will have more than 400 beds and nearly a dozen operating rooms capable of holding 41 stretchers. “A medical facility of this size requires reliable VT between floors at all times, and we’re excited to be part of this important healthcare initiative, expected to open in 2026,” Otis stated.
