Permits Filed For 73-Story Tower in Miami

New construction permits have been filed for Baccarat Residences, a 73-story skyscraper located at 99 Southeast 5th Street in the Brickell neighborhood in Miami, Florida YIMBY reports. The filing shows that the structure will top out at 835 ft, and will contain 806,326 ft2 including 352 condominium units and 10,000 ft2 of restaurant space. 444 Brickell Partners, LLC, an affiliate of the Related Group (Related), is listed as the owner of the application. Related is developing the tower with SH Hotels & Resorts, which manages the Baccarat Hotel in New York. The building design is by Arquitectonica with lavish interiors by Meyer Davis, and landscaping will be handled by Enzo Enea of Zurich-based Enea Garden Design. John Moriarty and Associates of Florida Inc. is listed as the general contractor. Baccarat Residences is one of three towers that Related is reportedly going to build at the site, according to the source. New construction permits for another, 47-story tower were filed in December 2020, and remain under review. The 73-story Baccarat condo tower will cost approximately US$241 million. Demolition permits have yet to be filed for a 13-story office building, the third and final tower.
