The Laurel Rittenhouse Square, a 48-story residential tower under construction in Philadelphia (ELENET 792), has topped out, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat reported on September 30. The 183-m-tall structure with a modern glass façade will offer 65 condominiums in the upper floors, and 184 apartments below. The design, by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, will feature a stone-clad entry pavilion that blends into its historic neighborhood. Residents will be treated to views of Rittenhouse Square, Center City and the Schuylkill River. Amenities include a private residents’ club on the 26th floor. The developer is Southern Land Company, which is working with SCB on several other projects. The target completion date for The Laurel Rittenhouse Square is sometime in 2022.
