Russia Trade Official Visits Uzbekistan VT Company To Discuss Collaboration

Russia Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mikhail Ivanov recently visited vertical-transportation (VT) company Osten Group in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to observe Osten’s competencies in the design and maintenance of elevators and escalators, UZ Daily reports. He met with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan to discuss collaborating with Osten Group on the production and supply of components for high-speed elevators and escalators to Russian manufacturers. “The expansion of industrial cooperation with Uzbek partners corresponds to the strategic goals set by the heads of the two states,” Ivanov observed.
