Russian Elevator Week Held in Moscow

The 11th Russian Elevator Week, organized by VDNKh and the National Lift Society, was held in Moscow on June 7-9 at the 57th Hall of the International VDNKh Fairground. The Russian lift industry has been greatly impacted by U.S. and European sanctions and the withdrawal of numerous manufacturers, especially OEMs, due to the Russian-Ukraine war. Outside of Russia, participants came mostly from China, with 19 companies, and Türkiye, with 16 companies. Companies from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Iran, Greece and Italy opened 91 booths in total. The three-day event consisted of exhibitions, presentations, panels and a family day, which was new this year. The next Russian Elevator week is planned for 2025.
