Schindler Group subsidiary Schindler India announced on October 25 it has joined forces with Times Innovative Media Ltd. (Times OOH), a leading Indian outdoor advertising company, to “redefine in-lift advertising.” The alliance will enable brands to convey their messages, offerings and advertisements through strategically placed in-elevator screens that are connected 24/7. The estimated daily reach is more than 1 million impressions across major cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, the Delhi National Capital Region, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. With a growing number of residential complexes and office spaces throughout urban metropolises in Tier 1 and 2 cities, the Indian digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising space is poised for exponential growth, Schindler India observed. Elevators, the company added, are naturally suited for DOOH advertising as they are confined spaces where people actively seek distractions.
