In July, Schmersal India is marking 10 years of manufacturing safety products at its 4,000-m2 facility in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corp. industrial area of Ranjangaon, Pune, India. To commemorate the milestone, Schmersal India invited partners, suppliers, customers and employees to a celebration at the factory earlier this month. The Schmersal Group established the factory in 2013 in response to growing demand for safety products after launching Schmersal India in 2007. Schmersal observed its Indian subsidiary has established an “unprecedented success story” over the past decade, continuously expanding production and business activities under the leadership of founding member and Managing Director Sagar Bhosale. Under his leadership, Schmersal India experienced double-digit sales growth in both products and services, as well as grew its workforce from five to 143 today.
