Schmersal Names Managing Director For Bangkok Subsidiary

The Schmersal Group has named Passara Hongwisat managing director of Schmersal Thailand Co. Ltd. in Bangkok. Born in Thailand, Hongwisat has 18 years’ experience in sales and marketing for IT and industrial products companies, including in the automotive industry for the past five years. She studied electronic engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Hongwisat observed that Thailand is a growing market for new technologies in the automation sector with a growing awareness of machine and occupational safety. “Therefore, the demand for the high-quality products and profound knowhow of Schmersal will continue to rise,” she said.
