Under the motto “A World of Data: Connecting People, Elevating Lives,” the third iteration of Smart City Expo (SCE) Doha 2023 on November 29-30 at the International Horticulture Exhibition of Qatar in Doha, Qatar, will focus on data, connectivity and the future of cities. Organized by the Qatar Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, SCE Doha is an event of Smart City Expo World Congress and Fira Barcelona International. More than 100 countries and 40 companies and organizations will be represented, with a conference featuring more than 70 experts serving as the event centerpiece. Key speakers set to share their vision on four main themes — green urban environments, digital governance, cognitive cities and livable places — include Columbia University Community Scholar and Urban AI founder/CEO Renée Cummings, Government of Estonia Chief Data Officer Ott Velsberg and Netherlands Smart City Ambassador and Strategy Advisor Frans-Anton Vermast. Companies will also showcase new products and solutions in the field of urban innovation.
