Southwest Elevator Co., headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, has announced Sam Patel as its new national director of Operations and Business Development (BD). Southwest Elevator observes that Patel brings a wealth of experience and a track record of operational excellence and business growth. Patel’s 47-year elevator industry career includes holding various leadership roles at Fujitec America over nearly 40 years, including Field operations manager and North America Modernization Operations vice president. He studied electrical engineering for elevators at City and Guilds London University, and is a NAESA International Certified Elevator Inspector. Patel also completed the Specialist in Safety and Health program at the University of Texas at Arlington.
