Iconic Tower, at 393.8 m tall and 77 stories a supertall, is making progress in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital (NAC), with the concrete core complete and finishing touches underway, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat reports, citing CGTN. To incorporate hospitality, commercial and retail uses, Iconic Tower was designed by Dar and is being built by China State Construction and Engineering Corp. Provided by KONE, its vertical-transportation system will include four TransitMasterTM 120 escalators, and 35 MiniSpaceTM, 13 MonoSpace® and seven TranSysTM freight elevators. The supertall is one of 18 skyscrapers planned for NAC’s CBD. Completion is anticipated in 2030.
