TKE Honors Dimo In Sri Lanka As Best Global Distributor

TK Elevator (TKE) has named DIMO of Sri Lanka as the Best Global Distributor for 2021, The Island reports. DIMO (Diesel and Motor Engineering, PLC), regarded as one of the leading diversified conglomerates in the country, was noted for establishing a team for sales and 24-h services, and for growing its market share by two digits. The company was also honored for securing two international airport projects in the region. One of those was at the Velana International Airport in Maldives, a project that included the supply, installation and maintenance of 41 TKE elevators, escalators and moving walks. The other recent project involved the relocation of the Emigration Area at the Passenger Terminal Building of Bandaranaike International Airport (Terminal 1) in Sri Lanka, which consisted of the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of TKE elevators. DIMO has secured a number of key projects in Sri Lanka, including work at shopping malls, health centers, resorts and universities. TKE has partnered with DIMO’s technical team in an effort to share expertise and understand lift requirements. The OEM also ensures the support of its remote global technical team.
