TKE Joins Georgia Business Group to Cut Carbon Emissions

TK Elevator (TKE) has joined the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact, a collaborative initiative focused on galvanizing climate-change action in Georgia. Created by the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, the group’s mission is to leverage the Georgia business community to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions in the state by 2050. TKE is one of 16 local business leaders to become founding members of the Compact. TKE North America President and CEO Kevin Lavallee said joining the compact fits in with the company’s vision for the future. “While we are proud to once again partner with our friends at Georgia Tech, we are excited to share our sustainability leadership and expertise to help our new home state of Georgia in its pursuit of our mutual goal: net-zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said Lavallee.
