TKE Publishes Sustainability Report 2023/2024

TK Elevator (TKE), the global vertical-transportation OEM headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany, has published its Sustainability Report 2024: Driving Growth and Responsibility, TKE announced on July 29. The fourth annual publication underscores TKE’s commitment to driving sustainable urbanization, enhancing accessibility and fostering a culture of safety and inclusion. It paints a comprehensive and transparent picture of TKE’s sustainability efforts. TKE CEO Uday Yadav observed that sustainability “runs through everything we do,” and provided examples such as the energy-efficient EOX elevator platform, digitalization and a focus on both safety and supplier relationships. EOX accounted for approximately 75% of elevator orders in Europe and 40% of orders in the Americas in 4th Quarter of 2024, contributing to a 3% reduction in Scope 3 emissions versus the previous year. TKE achieved an additional 28% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from its own operations compared to the 2029 baseline, progress supported by a significant increase in the use of renewable electricity.
