TK Elevator (TKE) announced on September 4 it secured a five-year service contract with Danske Statsbaner (DSB), Denmark’s largest railway company, covering maintenance of more than 200 elevators and escalators and 160 additional mobility units across the DSB network. The agreement covers multi-vendor maintenance of mobility units at stations serving urban, suburban and long-distance rail networks throughout Denmark. The new agreement further expands TKE’s footprint in Denmark, building on the nationwide service contract secured with (Danish national railway infrastructure manager) Banedenmark earlier this year that covers more than 165 VT units. Implementing its Universal Service platform, TKE now services more than 500 mobility units supporting passenger rail travel across the country.
