TKE Urges U.K. Partners to Connect With Alcumus Supply

TK Elevator (TKE) is entering its U.K. partnership with Alcumus SafeContractor, a provider of clients’ Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) services, the companies announced in March. TKE, a major designer, manufacturer and modernizer of lifts, escalators and moving walks, will work with Alcumus to oversee risk management associated with third-party provision of goods, services and subcontractor works. Among Alcumus’ offerings are an assessment of processes to build a risk-based business profile; committing companies to high standards of health, safety and sustainability; and allowing lower fees for contractors already meeting certain regulations. TKE is committed to ensuring the highest quality supply chain with all its suppliers and subcontractors. To achieve this, its U.K. partners will be required to obtain Alcumus membership. Deadlines require TKE partnerships to register with Alcumus by April 8 and complete the relevant SafeContractor or SafeSupplier assessment by May 20. For more information, visit Alcumus online.
