Unitec Returns To Roots, Moves Back To Long Island City

Elevator service provider Unitec is moving from Ozone Park to a new headquarters in CityView Plaza in Long Island City, the company announced in a press release. The company was originally based in Long Island City but relocated to Ozone Park once it became a part of United Technologies, becoming a separate entity in 2019. “This is an exciting new beginning for us, but in a way, we’re also returning to our roots by coming back to Long Island City,” says Jake Lammers, president of Unitec. “We’re a growing business and we need flexible, modern facilities that will be able to support us today and in the future.”
