TK Elevator (TKE) announced on March 10 it secured a 10-year contract with Dubai International Airport (DXB) to service and maintain passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) and aircraft stand equipment serving all four concourses. This includes the prestigious concourses D and A, home to Emirates and purpose-built for the world’s largest passenger planes: the A380 and B777. TKE provides comprehensive lifetime service and 24/7 maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of 152 PBBs, pre-conditioned air and ground power units at DXB. The world’s busiest airport, DXB served approximately 92.3 million passengers in 2024. “DXB thrives on partnerships that drive seamless journeys for tens of millions of guests annually and support the operational backbone of the airport,” DXB Chief Technology & Infrastructure Officer Omar Binadai said. “Our collaboration with TKE reflects this ethos.”
