Pickerings Lifts Achieves ISO 27001 Data Security Certification

Pickerings Lifts, a leading independent lift industry provider based in Stockton on Tees, U.K., announced it achieved ISO 27001 data security certification. The globally recognized ISO 27001 certifies that Pickerings has implemented a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information such as customer and employee details, intellectual property, financial information and third-party data. The accreditation was awarded to the company on August 11 after rigorous audits of its systems and procedures over nine months. “Working with over 5,000 different customers, some with thousands of units, we take protection of their data very seriously,” Pickerings Managing Director Paul Brooks said. “Cybersecurity is of paramount importance as we are extremely proud to have demonstrated that the robust security measures we have built in throughout our business are of the high ISO 27001 standard.”
