Mortensen/Clark has hired Otis to provide nearly 70 units to the Chase Center in San Francisco, new home of the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors for the 2019-2020 season. The order includes 28 Gen2®, five custom hydraulic and geared and four HydroFitTM elevators; 19 energy-efficient NCE escalators; nine wheelchair lifts and one dumbwaiter. Otis also inked an agreement with Golden State Warriors Arena LLC that makes it an official development partner of Chase Center, a “landmark project” that will include an 18,000-sq.-ft. arena/event space, 580,000 sq. ft. of offices and labs, 100,000 sq. ft. of retail and a 35,000-sq.-ft. public plaza.
