One Hundred, a 36-story, 385-ft.-tall tower in St. Louis’ Central West End is expected to start taking shape this year and be complete by 2019, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The developer is Mac Properties of Englewood, New Jersey, and the architect is Chicago-based Studio Gang, which designed a tiered, glassy structure reminiscent of leaves located on Kingshighway. It will be the tallest residential building in the City of St. Louis, although the tallest residential building in the metro area will remain the 409-ft.-tall Clayton Tower in Clayton. Making the most of natural light, apartments will sit atop a five-story base containing parking, retail and amenities.
