Two men installing an elevator at a construction site in Tirat Carmel, Jerusalem, were killed on August 21, ynewnews.com reports. Investigators say the deaths occurred while the workers were attempting to install the elevator. When it reached the 12th floor, it broke off and fell into a container. The Magen David Adom (MDA) service center said it received a report about the toppled shipping container at the construction site at 9:47 a.m. MDA crews arrived on the site to aid several workers who suffered injuries. The injured workers were later evacuated to a hospital. Part of the fallen container smashed into the garden of a residential home while the female owner was still inside. The woman escaped the incident unharmed.
